A truly stunning fabric, Okinami Gloriole is woven on our Deep Rainbow warp that captures a darker, more dramatic version of the rainbow spectrum. The black clouds are picked out in a cotton yarn and the rolling waves are brought to life with a shimmery white Tencel yarn. 

The gorgeous vibrant colours are enough to grab anyone’s attention, however there is much more to this fabric that makes it so special - it is beautifully soft straight out of the bag and feels wonderfully smooth to the touch. The rolling waves design adds a little grip to the fabric making it easy to tie. 

Woven using a hybrid weave technique, this supportive fabric is mouldable and malleable enough for beginners and for wrapping smaller babies, whilst being strong enough for carrying toddlers and bigger children. A lovely blend combined with our special weaving technique make for a fabric with gentle cush and slight bounce for comfy carries. The Hybrid weave is a special technique that allows us to use multiple colours to highlight different areas of the pattern for a unique look.

The finer yarns and denser weave structure  create a supportive fabric. Tencel is a yarn made from wood pulp using a closed loop system, softer and stronger than most cottons it also uses much less water and land making it a great eco-friendly alternative. 

This fabric is also woven with BCI cotton. By using BCI cotton we ensure that our cotton meets the Better Cotton Initiative’s high standards of environmental, economic and social responsibility. Our BCI cotton is also organic, meaning it is grown with care and without chemicals keeping the land, and farmers, healthy.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Wash at 30 degrees. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Do not tumble dry, lay flat to dry. Iron on a cool setting.
