As you know the family is everything to me – it’s an asylum, a home. The love for my family is my greatest inspiration to create and without this love I would never make any of my wraps. Especially in today's uncertain times, I appreciate its value and enjoy its closeness.
So once again I reach for the pattern that is very symbolic for me. It depicts growing, caring for a child, the incredible bond that maternity gives. A small bud grows from the same stalk, it sprouts surrounded by love, and itself soon turns into a beautiful flower.
There is nothing more beautiful and pure than love towards a child. It is a combination of delicateness and tenderness with incredible strength. A design that radiates warmth.
I called it „Yin Yang” to emphasis its magic and power.
The concept of Yin and Yang comes from ancient Chinese philosophy and metaphysics. It describes the two primary and opposite but complementary forces that can be found throughout the universe. The interplay of Yin and Yang is the cause of all things arising and changing. They form five elements (fire, water, earth, metal and wood), which create and complete our World. Among the forces of nature one can notice the states of Yin and Yang in constant motion.
Once again I decided to use this original blend with organic eucalyptus wood fiber. Thanks to that the fabric is soft and smooth and very velvety to the touch. It has breathable properties, and the fibers regulate temperature and absorb moisture, so the wrap will be great on hot days. The material is durable, does not shrink or stretch. What is also very important it is especially recommended for people with sensitive skin and allergy sufferers, so it will be perfect from the first days of a newborn's life.
"True Love – Yin Yang" has as usual unique and noble blend. I decided this wrap will be vegan, delicate and beautiful. And at the same time strong, expressive, taking care of the small baby it will carry, but also a toddler, if your child is older.
"True Love – Yin Yang" is 275 gsm of:
- 50 % organic eucalyptus wood fiber
- 30% organic Pima cotton
- 20% Egyptian combed cotton
I weave Wild Slings wraps on our own loom which guarantees them the highest quality and attention to every detail.
What is more, they are always steam cleaned before being sent.
