Woven on a gorgeous BCI organic cotton fade that depicts the stunning colours of a beach, from sandy tones to sky blues, Eä is the Quenya word meaning to “be” or “exist”.

Crafted with Open End Spun linen in midnight blue, and fine white Tencel, this fabric is soft, bouncy and has a gentle cush for the shoulders. A little stretch makes this supportable fabric perfect for carrying newborns right through to toddlerhood. 

This fabric is woven with our special hybrid weave technique that allows us to use multiple colours to highlight different areas of the pattern for a unique look. The finer yarns and denser weave structure create a supportive fabric.

Tencel is a yarn made from wood pulp using a closed loop system, softer and stronger than most cottons it also uses much less water and land making it a great eco-friendly alternative. 

Wholly sourced from Belgium and France, our Open End Spun European linen is a uniform yarn with a smooth surface made in a special process where the twist is inserted as the yarn is spun. Spinning the yarn in this way is more economical than normal methods – reducing energy consumption – making it a more eco-friendly yarn. Fabrics spun in this way have a unique fleecy texture, bringing a little of the volume and texture of wool with none of the prickle.

This fabric is also woven with BCI organic cotton, by using BCI cotton we ensure that our cotton meets the Better Cotton Initiative’s high standards of environmental, economic and social responsibility. Our BCI cotton is also organic, meaning it is grown with care and without chemicals keeping the land, and farmers, healthy.

The Lonely Mountain, or Erebor, was the Dwarven kingdom which was home of the exiled members of King Durin’s folk, led by Thrór, until the attack and occupation by the dragon Smaug. This towering mountain is the quest’s end for Thorin Oakenshield and company, along with Bilbo Baggins, in their efforts to reclaim the kingdom for their people in The Hobbit™.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Wash at 30 degrees. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Do not tumble dry, lay flat to dry. Iron on a cool setting.
