Dear Wild Slings' Friends,
as you know after a long time I came back to black linen warp, and my new collection of no cotton wraps has a spectacular black, handcrafted fringles. Shores of the Mediterranean Sea was a big inspiration for me to create a collection which I called „Les secrets de l'océan”. Today I want to present you a wrap in extremely luxurious blend and amazing combination of colors, but the pattern is your beloved animals - Freres de sang.
Many people are staring at the cosmos with delight, but on our own planet there is an almost alien, fascinating world. A world that is teeming with life and that nobody notices. Corals are very persistent animals, they form the basis of a huge ecosystem. The number of coral species so beautiful and different from each other is still unexplored. This is another secret of the oceans. Corals live as long as the environment allows them, some up to 4,000 years. In nature, everything is connected, it is an extremely simple truth that we simply forget on a daily basis. Earlier, when I watched nature programs, I was delighted to observe the symbiosis in which animals and plants live with each other. Today I am honored to show my children this every day. Living on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, I gained even greater respect for Mother Nature, I can experience it every day in a dimension unknown to me. Not only fields and forests, but also seas and oceans find a special place in my heart. And one day we will probably be united by the brotherhood of blood, and my wild soul will be enriched with new, wonderful values.
This blend is incomparable with the others, because it has my new composition - it is airy, light, extremely soft and strong. This unique and noble blend, very soft, ideal for newborns and toddlers as well. Yak is an unusual and unique yarn that makes the sling light and soft. Rarer than cashmere, ethically sourced, antibacterial and antiallergic, delicate as a mist and soft as a cloud. These yarns have thermoregulatory properties, so the baby doesn’t overheat, and thanks to the whole mixture – noble linen, tussah and merino wool the wrap is extremly soft and airy.
I weave Wild Slings wraps on my own loom which guarantees them the highest quality and attention to every detail. Every wrap is also steam cleaned before being sent.
